Linda Khatri (b.1972) is a London based artist working across abstract painting, sculpture and pattern design. Her practice investigates the dynamic interplay between painting and sculpture, establishing a dialogue that explores their shared visual and conceptual language.

Khatri holds a BFA in Surface Pattern Design from Syracuse University. Her  background in textile and interior design has significantly informed her artistic approach, particularly in relation to her use of materials, pattern and composition.

Deeply influenced by colour theory, pattern, and chromotherapy, Khatri’s work challenges conventional boundaries by extending beyond the traditional frame. In doing so, she playfully blurs the distinctions between surface and space while prompting a reconsideration of established perceptions surrounding painting.

Based in West London, Khatri has been commissioned for large sale, site specific installations by The July (Amsterdam) and Convene (London). Her recent exhibitions include shows at Fitzrovia Gallery (London), Ubicua Gallery (London), AKA Contemporary, (Cambridge), and The Lido Stores (Margate). She is a member of High Vis Projects, a London based artist-run collaborative project fostering a dialogue among several contemporary artists whose practices engage with abstraction and non-representational art.
